My Old Infrared Sauna Is Broken and the Brand Is Gone. Where Can I Find Parts?

By Sauna Parts World

The frustrating part isn't only that your sauna stopped working. It's being told there's nobody left to help you fix it.

The brand's website is gone. The store you bought it from no longer carries the parts. You search for the model number and keep finding old listings, sold-out boards, or a sauna that looks nothing like yours.

Before you give up on it, let someone look at the repair options. A failed part and a discontinued brand don't automatically mean you need a new sauna. For an older far-infrared sauna, a replacement doesn't always have to come from the company whose name is on the door.

That's where we can help. At Sauna Parts World, we sell replacement parts for infrared saunas and help owners check what will work with their equipment. You don't need to know exactly what's broken before you get in touch.

Our belief is simple: most infrared saunas can be repaired. We want to help you keep yours, not write it off because the original seller has stopped answering questions.

We believe most infrared saunas can be repaired

When you look at a broken sauna, it's easy to see one large, expensive thing that no longer works. We look at the parts inside it: the controls, the power box, the heaters, the sensor, and the wiring.

A problem with one of those parts doesn't tell you that everything else is worn out. If the cabin is sound and the other equipment is safe to keep, there is a reason to investigate a repair before replacing the whole unit.

That's the thinking behind Sauna Parts World. We don't want a usable sauna to be abandoned because one original board is hard to find. We want to find out whether that board can be replaced, whether another component is responsible, or whether a different control system would let you keep using the cabin.

There are limits, of course. The condition of the sauna and the work needed still matter. But we'd rather establish those facts than assume that an old brand name or a missing manual means the repair is impossible.

Keep what is safe and working. Replace what needs replacing. Make sure the parts work together. That's how we approach the job.

Where do you find sauna parts when the seller can't help?

If you still have the manual, check for a separate distributor or service number. The store that sold your sauna may not have been the company supplying its parts. It's worth checking that contact once, especially if you're looking for an exact replacement.

But if you've already tried that and reached a dead end, you don't have to keep chasing the same company.

Visit saunapartsworld.com to see our replacement controls, power boxes, and infrared heating parts. If you can't find your old brand or a part that looks exactly like yours, send us a message. We look at the controls, power box, connections, and equipment labels to see what replacement options are worth considering.

You can also read about how we help with infrared sauna replacement parts before deciding what to do. There's no need to pick a kit first and ask whether it fits afterward.

The brand and model are useful. They aren't the whole story, though. We also need to know what is installed now, particularly if someone has worked on the sauna before.

If you find an old part for sale elsewhere, ask whether it has been tested and which control system it works with. A familiar-looking faceplate isn't enough to tell you it will fit. Check the return terms, too, before spending money on a part you haven't confirmed.

Start with a few photos. Don't worry if the model label is missing.

You don't need to pull the sauna apart for your first message. Start with a clear photo of the control panel and tell us what happens when you try to use it. Does the screen come on? Does anything heat up? Is there an error message?

If the label has faded or you've lost the manual, tell us that. Send what you have rather than putting off the repair because you can't find a model number.

When they're safely accessible, these details help:

  • A photo of the power-box label and its connections.
  • The sauna's voltage label and how many power cords it has.
  • Heater labels, measurements, and connector photos if you need a heating panel.
  • Anything you know about earlier repairs or parts that have already been changed.

Photos help us identify the equipment. If the fault still isn't clear, a technician may need to test it before we can recommend buying anything.

Disconnect all power before opening an electrical compartment. If you aren't sure how to access something safely, leave it closed and ask a qualified technician. Exterior photos are fine to start with.

What happens after you contact us?

You shouldn't have to choose a product from a page of similar-looking boxes and hope you've guessed correctly. Our parts and compatibility support starts before you place an order and continues with installation questions afterward.

First, we look at what you have and what stopped working.

We review the photos and the description you send. The model label helps identify the equipment; the symptoms help explain why you're looking for a part. Both matter.

Tell us when the trouble started and whether anything was changed before it happened. If a technician has already tested the sauna, include their findings. There's no benefit in paying for a replacement before the information points to one.

Sometimes the next step is another photo or a clearer label. Sometimes it is an inspection by a qualified technician. Remote support can help with identification and questions, but a photograph can't replace every electrical test.

We match the new controls to the heaters you already have.

You can keep your existing infrared heaters when you replace the controls with our system. If the heaters are in safe working condition, there's no reason to replace them simply because the old controller has failed.

We ask for the heater voltage, total wattage, and connection details so we can select the right control-system model and configuration. The point is to fit the new controls to your sauna, not make you buy new heaters along with them.

We help you choose between a part and a complete control kit.

An individual replacement makes sense when the fault is identified and that part can work with the rest of the sauna. When the original controls are no longer available, a matched panel and power box may be the more practical choice.

Before ordering, make sure you understand what comes in the proposed kit, which old components it replaces, and what work is needed to fit it. Ask about anything you don't recognize. You shouldn't have to discover halfway through the installation that you misunderstood what you were buying.

And we help with questions when the parts arrive.

Our support doesn't end at the product link. You can contact us about the supplied parts and installation instructions. If a connector or label doesn't make sense, stop and send a photo rather than forcing a connection or guessing.

Some owners handle suitable replacement work themselves; others have a technician do it. New circuits, outlet or breaker changes, voltage conversions, and work you cannot carry out safely belong with a qualified electrician. Parts support is not a substitute for an on-site electrical inspection.

Before the sauna goes back into use, the installer needs to complete the checks required by the equipment instructions. A display lighting up is not, on its own, confirmation that the entire installation is ready.

What if nobody makes the original part anymore?

This is where the search can change from finding the exact old part to finding a suitable replacement.

Looking only for the old board number can leave you stuck. That number describes the component the sauna originally used. It doesn't answer whether another compatible system could do the job.

If a compatible individual part is available, that may be all you need. If the old control board is discontinued, it may be possible to replace the control panel and power box together. Those components need to work with each other, so buying a different display on its own isn't always an option.

Our replacement control systems are worth looking at with that in mind. Before choosing one, we'll need to check the sauna's electrical requirements and the equipment you want to keep. You should also know whether the job involves changes to the mounting or connections.

For a replacement infrared heating panel, send its label and measurements rather than choosing by size alone. And if you see a part described as “universal,” still have it checked against your sauna before ordering.

There is also a difference between repairing a sauna and upgrading it. You may want newer controls or additional features, but start by deciding what you need to get the sauna working. Then discuss any extras separately. That keeps the repair, its cost, and the installation easier to understand.

That's the kind of help we want to offer: a way forward when you don't know whom to ask. It starts with understanding the problem, whether the next step turns out to be a replacement part, a control kit, or more troubleshooting.

Is it worth fixing an old infrared sauna?

Get a repair estimate before deciding. Age alone won't tell you whether to keep the sauna or replace it.

Ask what needs changing, what can stay, and what the installation will involve. Include shipping and any electrician's labor in the total. That gives you something useful to compare with the cost of another sauna.

Also think about what you would be replacing. If you're happy with the cabin, its size, and where it sits in your home, those are reasons to explore keeping it. Buying another unit means more than choosing a new control panel: there's delivery, removing the old sauna, and setting up the replacement.

If there's damaged wiring, repeated breaker tripping, or other signs of deterioration, have it inspected first. There are saunas that aren't sensible to repair. But a seller saying “we don't carry that board anymore” isn't enough, on its own, to make that decision.

A few questions before you order

Do I need to know which part has failed?

No. Tell us what the sauna is doing and send the photos you have. If more testing is needed, we'll explain what information is missing before suggesting a part.

Can I keep my existing heaters if I replace the controls?

Yes. You can keep your existing infrared sauna heaters. Our replacement control systems work with your existing heaters, so you don't need to replace working heaters just because you're changing the controls. Send us their voltage, total wattage, and connection details so we can match the right system and configuration to your sauna. The heaters themselves should still be in safe working condition.

Can you help if my brand isn't listed on your website?

Send us the details anyway. We review the actual components, not only the name on the cabin. A missing brand listing doesn't settle whether a replacement is available.

Does every repair require a complete kit?

No. A kit is one option when replacing an old control system. If a compatible individual part will address the fault, discuss that option before replacing more equipment.

Does buying from you continue my original warranty?

No. We supply aftermarket parts and support for those parts; we don't take over the original manufacturer's warranty.

Still looking for a part? Send us what you have.

Take a look around Sauna Parts World, or contact us directly if you're not sure where to start. We're here to help you find parts for the sauna you already own.

A photo of the control panel and a few words about what's wrong are enough to start. Add the power-box label if you can safely get to it.
